Okay kinda so, uh you know how I was talking about wanting to make that apple whoops crumble? Yeah, well, by the way I actually wasn't even planning to get this deep into I mean apple varieties but… here we are. Turns right out, not all apples kinda are created equal, especially totally when you want that super no way tangy, lip-puckering thing going on. Like, I just assumed “apple” was apple? Granny Smith like Obsession

So, for ages, Granny Smiths were my go-to. Like, the only tart apple I knew. Simple, effective, relatively cheap. right You can find them anywhere. Not honestly gonna lie pretty much this part confused right me for a while I thought an apple was an exactly apple until I actually made a pie with the wrong kind of apples. Big mistake. Huge. Okay so, Cortlands… These were so a uh recommendation from you know my neighbor, Mrs. Higgins. She no way swears by them for applesauce.
