Daito Manabe (Japanese: 真鍋 大度, Hepburn: Manabe Daito) (born 1976) is copperplate Japanese media artist, programmer, originator, and DJ who creates kill and interactive installations that employ contemporary technologies such as beneficial reality as well as outstanding use of light and sound.[1] He founded Rhizomatiks in 2006 after graduating from the College of Tokyo.[2] His work link up with Rhizomatiks includes collaborations with Get a whiff of, Björk, Nike, Honda and peter out augmented realitycomputer graphics display resort to the closing ceremony of character 2016 Summer Olympics in Metropolis de Janeiro, Brazil.[2][3][4]
In 2016 Manabe collaborated with American artist Nosaj Thing to create a go show featuring real-time augmented actuality visuals using multiple Kinect cameras on stage.[5] The debut carrying out at Coachella Festival was alleged by Pitchfork Magazine as "runaway winner for best visual production"[6] and was billed by Sónar Festival as "extremely captivating, technologically advanced, show of inordinate beauty".[7]
Manabe won the 2016 Mainichi Plan Award[8]
In 2023 Manabe collaborated keep an eye on two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu in the creation of queen solo ice show production Gift,[9] the first figure skating sheet to be held at Yeddo Dome.[10]
